Do you feel that "after coming to Thailand, blemishes have suddenly increased on one side of my face" or "the beauty treatments I had been receiving in Japan can no longer keep up"?
Under the strong ultraviolet rays of Thailand, even the same type of blemish removal laser used when you were in Japan may react differently depending on your skin condition and environment.
In this issue, we will introduce the types of blemish removal lasers and treatments that approach blemish problems at Bibi Clinic.
Types of spot removal lasers introduced at Bibi Clinic

Typical types of spot removal lasers include,
- Q-switched laser
- Carbon dioxide (CO2) laser
- Pico laser
and others.
Bibi Clinic has introduced the Picocare 450 picolaser, which is FDA-certified.
What is pico laser?
The PicoLaser is an advanced device for dark, light, and flat spots.
By applying a laser with an irradiation time of pico-seconds (one trillionth of a second) per shot, the laser works on melanin pigment, which is the cause of blemishes.
The irradiation time is shorter than that of conventional lasers, a characteristic that is said to have relatively little effect due to heat.
It also features the ability to select wavelengths from several different types, allowing a single unit to approach blemishes from shallow to deep layers of the skin.
Since many people suffering from blemishes have a mixture of multiple blemishes, Bibi Clinic responds by switching wavelengths in detail according to the symptoms.
Bibi Clinic's Picolaser "Picocare 450" has three irradiation modes
The PicoCare 450 picolaser made in Korea, which is introduced in our clinic, has the following three irradiation modes.
1. picotoning
- A mode in which a low-power laser is irradiated over a wide area to gradually approach the melanin pigment that causes blemishes.
- It is used to treat melasma, light spots, freckles, and uneven coloration.
- Redness and burning may occur after the procedure, but there is relatively little downtime.
2. picospot
- This mode pinpoints high-power lasers to areas of concern for blemishes and approaches both shallow and deep layers of the skin.
- Used to treat dark spots, freckles, and birthmarks.
- Downtime is about 7 to 10 days until the scabs peel off and about 2 weeks to 1 month until the redness and brown marks settle.
3. picofractional
- This mode uses high-density laser irradiation to cause very small wounds on the skin surface to support skin renewal.
- Aim to improve the overall tone of the skin.
- Redness and burning may occur after the procedure, but can be covered with makeup, and downtime is about 2 to 3 days.
Bibi Clinic has doctors with extensive experience in treating blemishes. For example, if a patient has light spots over a wide area of the face, we suggest pico toning to improve the overall skin tone.
Other equipment used at Bibi Clinic to approach blemishes

In addition to the Pico-Laser, Bibi Clinic has introduced the Silpharm X, a device that approaches spots.
What is Silpharm X?
Silpharm X is an advanced device that is also used to treat types of spots such as melasma and post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation.
Radiofrequency (RF) is irradiated from an ultrafine needle (microneedle) inserted into the skin to approach the deeper layers of the skin where blemishes are born.
In addition, ultra-fine needle puncture supports skin turnover and leads to healthy skin.
Since no strong damage is done to the surface of the skin, redness and peeling after the procedure can be suppressed, and the downtime is relatively short.
Two irradiation modes of Silpharm X
Silpharm X has the following two modes
These two modes are used according to the skin condition, and treatment is performed while approaching existing spots as well as taking future skin conditions into consideration.
- PW mode (pulse wave)
A mode that approaches melasma and red face while taking melanin and vascular factors into consideration. - CW mode (continuous wave)
Mode that gives heat energy to the deeper layers of the skin to support collagen production
In addition, Bibi Clinic also offers skin growth injections and equipment to improve the skin's foundation, as well as internal skin care sets that approach blemishes from within the body.

Advantages of having spots removed at Bibi Clinic in Bangkok, Thailand

Aren't there more varieties of spot removal lasers in Korea and Japan?"
Japanese people seem to get their spots removed more effectively at Japanese clinics."
Some may think that this is a good idea.
In fact, the level of cosmetic medicine in Thailand is known as one of the best in the world. Among Bangkok's many beauty clinics, we will tell you why Japanese women are choosing Vivi Clinic's blemish removal.
Effective approach to blemishes with advanced equipment and high technology, while taking risks into consideration
Because the sunlight is stronger in Thailand than in Japan, depending on the condition of the skin and the degree of sunburn, the same power output and irradiation method may cause different reactions.
Therefore, it is important to adjust the spot removal laser according to the environment and skin conditions in which the procedure is performed.
At Bibi Clinic, while using a variety of medical equipment, we consider the irradiation method after checking the thickness of each patient's skin, the type of blemish, and the state of sunburn.
We also place great importance on performing the procedure while taking into consideration the stress on the surrounding normal skin.
Dedicated Japanese contact point and careful counseling for peace of mind
Bibi Clinic has Japanese staff on site,
I've been diagnosed with melasma, but won't the spot removal laser make it worse?"
